The Circulation Counter
. This is where you go to borrow and return 28-day loan and 14-day loan items.
. You must have a valid UWI ID card to borrow items.
. You do not need to show your library card when returning items.
Reserve Collection
. The Reserve Collection houses booklist items and readings recommended by lecturers.
. These items can only be borrowed for limited periods of time.
. Students must complete a Request for Reserve Item form which is given
to staff.
. It is important to return Reserve items promptly, since fines are
$1.00 per hour.
Reserve Colour Codes and Fines
The Book Deposit
. If the library is closed you can still return items via the book chute located
on the exterior of the library. Note that books with a return date that is the same day of the book chute return will incur a cost of $1.00 each.
The General Reference or RefG Collection
. This collection contains reference materials such as encyclopaedias, handbooks, dictionaries, and other material that cannot be borrowed
out of the library.
Display Area
. From time to time, the library and other campus departments mount displays of cultural or historical significance.
