Truncation

Truncation allows you to type in the root of a word in order to retrieve results containing several variants or derivatives of that word.

The most common symbols used to truncate are the asterisk, * or the question mark ? .

For example,

conserv* will retrieve results containing the words conserve, conservation, conserving, conservative.

Wom?n will retrieve results containing the words woman or women.
