Examples of Reference Citations in Various Styles
The following are basic examples of reference citations, using different citation styles. The examples included here are from the following styles:
• American Psychological Association (APA)
• American Chemical Society (ACS)
• Modern Language Association (MLA)
• Vancouver
• Chicago
Note that these are not exhaustive examples. For examples not included here, please consult the appropriate style manuals and guides either in print or online.
